We got some of the worst sleep of our vacation here. The bed only had a sheet, the light-filtering curtains let in plenty of brightness, and staff left the lights on until midnight. We could hear everything through the paper-thin walls, including what sounded like late-night dishwashing. The Wi-Fi didn’t work in our room. We picked this hotel because of advertising about surfing, but although it’s right beside the beach, there were no board rentals anywhere nearby.

We’re spending weeks traveling around Mexico and camping much of the time, so a motel stop is mainly for a good hot shower. We asked management if they could get the water hot by morning, but it still didn’t happen. Such a letdown.

A relaxed, friendly little place, with helpful staff throughout our stay. It’s about 20 km from La Crucecita, so you can be near the beach and away from the crowds there. I’d definitely recommend it.

At night, all you hear is the ocean in this quiet area. The rooftop restaurant has an amazing view, and the hotel is close to the beach. Our room had A/C and was cleaned every day. The staff were all very friendly, and the bed was comfy.
