Casa Danna Huatulco

The beach is right behind the hotel, and there’s a warm pool to end the night. I loved my stay: everything was very clean and organized, and both breakfast and drinks were amazing. The location worked perfectly for us, with La papaya (a night club) just 2 minutes away and the city of Huatulco a 7-minute drive. I’m very satisfied and will definitely come back.

The WIFI was horrible and didn’t work at all, so please fix it and we can come back. Otherwise, the hotel was clean and neat, with a cool pool and the nearest beach just a 3-minute walk away. MAI, the receptionist at the time, was amazing and charming and made our stay.

We had kids with us, and one sheet got a small stain after an accident. When we returned, the bed had been made with the same dirty sheets. We were also told that children don’t get shower towels because they don’t pay for their own rooms. With three children, that policy is ridiculous. Towels weren’t available until 3pm, and once the kitchen closed at 12pm, staff said they no longer had a key for utensils. The receptionists were rude and snarky, and not accommodating at all. Our booking wasn’t honored: we’d reserved two rooms with two beds each for 6 nights, but they tried to put us in a room with one bed. Since nothing else was available, we had to pay almost triple the expected cost for two larger rooms than we’d anticipated, and we were moved three different times. This was the worst hotel I’d ever stayed at. They had nothing available for guests to use. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Take your money to the Holiday Inn or Best Western down the street.

The room was very clean and smelled really nice, and the employees were hospitable. The service was very good, and the prices were good for the location. This was a wonderful hotel, and I’m most likely to come back.
