Rainwater covered the floor when we arrived, and the ceiling was wet in every room. Some spots already had mold, and the bathroom paint was peeling. Then we found a big cockroach. We left immediately. Jorge came into the apartment wearing underwear and said we could cancel and get a full refund. An hour after we left, he began harassing us by text, pressuring us to cancel right away or he wouldn’t return any money. The Airbnb app said cancelling ourselves meant no refund, so I contacted support and they told us not to do anything. Jorge was rude and kept sending demands and threats. We eventually got the money back, and we’re glad we left straight away. Stay away!

We stayed in number 5 for two weeks. It was great and clean, and the AC worked really well. Gustavo, the owner of this unit, which is independent from the others, couldn’t do enough to provide excellent service. You can’t beat the location. We’d definitely come back.

We enjoyed our stay. The place was very quiet, the AC worked well, and the water was good. Cooking facilities were okay, though our room was missing a few things, including linens. We ended up buying a lightweight blanket. We also should have asked Jorge for more towels and supplies, since he would have provided them. The location made it easy to get anywhere.

The location is great, and the price isn't high, but we had a lot of issues. We booked through VRBO and the host didn't respond. Nobody was there at check-in, and the room had been left unlocked. The sheets were dirty, and there was a terrible smell in the kitchen, like something was rotting. The toilet was barely fixed to the floor. There are also doors between neighboring suites, so you can hear a lot from the other apartments. The yard behind the pool has lots of roosters, which means early morning noise. The finish is a bit rough, though if the kitchen smell were fixed, we could have lived with the dirty sheets and smaller complaints.
