La Piazza had no generator or emergency lights, and there was no concierge, just an untrained police officer who seemed overwhelmed by everyone’s complaints. I couldn’t get a clear answer or see any solution, so I decided to leave. I’d paid for a week and never received an invoice. The water was only lukewarm on day one, then there was no hot water on day two. On the third day, the power went out and we lost water completely. After 16 hours, I had to throw out all the food I’d bought. I asked for a refund for at least the remaining days, but they refused. That says a lot about how the place is run and explains the building’s state of disrepair.
