Hotel Reforma

It was peaceful and quiet inside, and only guests can get through the doors into the hotel. The customer service was excellent, and the place was clean and beautiful. It's also handy having an OXXO across the street, a tasty taco spot on the opposite corner, and the ZOCALO nearby with music and good food. After we tried to book at Another hotel “Real 1900 “, where the price went up ridiculously when they saw we were American, we found this place for half the price. The room was okay, about like a motel 6. It got hot, and with no AC in the restroom we left its window open, so ants crawled over the wall. The hot shower was difficult to turn on, and there was no bath mat or extra shower towel, which might bother you if you're picky like me. The wall AC was nice, but we had to ask the front desk for a replacement remote because the room's original was broken. Apart from that, no complaints. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

The beds were new and comfortable, the room was clean, and the prices were affordable, 925 for a single room. Service was very good. The shower area of the bathroom was a little dirty, but the rest was excellent. There's an Oxxo across the street and delicious tacos on the other corner. They shorted me a little on breakfast v:, but I still loved it.

It's a new hotel with tasteful decor and is excellent in many ways, but there are a few snags. The TV is hard to tune to free-to-air channels, and even the staff don't know how to find them. Getting an invoice is a nightmare too. I left the details in writing and sent them by email and WhatsApp, but they still got it wrong. It took almost a week to get the first invoice corrected.

We made the reservation a day ahead, but when we arrived, the hotel was already full. The receptionists were rude, inefficient, and couldn't sort anything out. They don't communicate with each other. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT. TERRIBLE SERVICE AND THEY DO NOT SOLVE ANYTHING, recommended if you want to HAVE A BAD TIME.
