The location made getting around easy. We could walk to a few restaurants and street food in about five minutes, and the flat walk into town took around 25 minutes. Golf carts are available if you want a fun ride around the island, but we didn’t need one. The taxi buggies are easy to find and affordable too, about 200 Mexican pesos to get back if you’re tired. We had a standard room, which we knew wouldn’t have a direct beach view, and were happy with that choice. It was nicely furnished, with a large fridge, a great bathroom, and a very comfortable bed. The pool and beach were just steps away, with beautiful, pristine sand. This was our first trip to Isla Holbox, and we picked this small beachfront hotel for its boutique feel and good value. There are eight rooms in the main hotel and three more in the villa next door. Isaac gave us a warm welcome, and the staff were attentive throughout. Breakfast was included each morning, with a good range including eggs, avocado toast, and fresh juice. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend it to people visiting Isla Holbox.

That beachfront suite is huge, with a big private terrace and a sea view that’s hard to beat. It’s well worth the upgrade. The hotel itself is in a good spot, right on the beach and an easy walk from town, and the breakfast is both tasty and good value for the island. Isak and Johnny lead a brilliant team. They understand good service and really look after guests, going out of their way to help with whatever you need. Of the three places we stayed, this was easily the best. Thanks to everyone for making the visit such a pleasure. We’d definitely recommend it.

The people here made the stay. Isaac, our host and the manager, went out of his way to help us feel at home, and the staff were polite and kind. The chef was another highlight, serving wonderful breakfasts with a big smile and fresh juice each day. On our last morning, we were rushing for the ferry and missed breakfast, so he made us an incredible sourdough sandwich with scrambled eggs, avocado, and bacon. It stole my heart. THANK YOU!!! ❤️❤️❤️ We’d had some awful accommodation experiences on Hellbox, so arriving here felt like a relief. Our room was spacious and elegant, with a lovely ocean view and terrace. The beds were so comfortable I wanted to stay in them all day. The sheets and bathroom were clean, and the shower had hot water and good pressure. Those details matter a lot to me, and I was grateful. There was also a little fridge and a coffee machine ❤️

Isak and the staff were so friendly and accommodating, and went above and beyond to make our vacation feel perfect. We felt safe and welcome the whole time. The room was lovely, and the pool was just right for a quick cool-down dip. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this place.

The staff were the best part, especially Carolina. Everyone was incredibly helpful and nothing felt like too much trouble. The room was cleaned every day, which we appreciated after tracking in beach sand, and the cleaner did a great job. We loved the beach and hotel, and the views were amazing. The location suited us perfectly, far enough from the centre to feel quiet and relaxing. We have nothing negative to say about our stay, and because of the staff alone, we’re already hoping to come back every year. We loved Holbox so much.
