The pool and rooftop are lovely extras, and the rooms are just as described. The A/C worked perfectly, though it can take a little while for the hot water to come through. The host’s clear messages and tips about taxis and ferry times helped me feel at ease traveling solo. It’s a short walk from the downtown area, but in wet weather the roads can be tricky. There are stairs and bridges to get around puddles, though they’re definitely not ADA friendly. You can rent a bike six minutes away, and taxis are reliable.

I loved the quiet and peaceful setting, and the property itself is beautiful, with thoughtful design and comfortable amenities. It’s close to the beach, but around a 30-minute walk to the town center along the beach. In rainy season, flooded roads can make getting around difficult. The host was clear about that, shared contacts for reliable taxi drivers, and said they’re building a walkway to make travel easier. A one-way taxi costs $250-300 MXN or $12-15 USD. Despite the distance, the tranquility made it worthwhile. I highly recommend it if you’re after a beautiful, peaceful place to stay.

Rodolfo made the stay even better, especially with his smoker on the roof. We had some great BBQs up there. The rooftop view at sunrise and sunset is well worth it, and the pool is a must. It’s near Punta Cocos and a 15-minute walk to centro. I enjoyed every bit of it. Best Airbnb of my Yucatan trip, so worth it. Thanks again :)

The host was attentive and friendly, and the accommodation is cozy, clean, and nicely decorated, with a lovely view. It’s not far from the sea and about a 20-minute walk to the town center. There’s a flashlight in the room because the streets in the center are lit, but the others aren’t. Nearby construction is the downside. Holbox Island is booming, and the noise can be a bit much.
