Boox Casa

Martin and Martha were great hosts, and I loved the place. I had my best sleep in Mexico so far in the “green” room, so I decided to add another night. Then I moved to the “purple” room and didn’t sleep well there. Maybe it was a different mattress style 😑. Coffee and breakfast are served in the morning 😊, and the pool was awesome since the beach water is too shallow to really swim. There are free bicycles too 😊. I’d definitely stay again, just not in the purple room.

Martin and Martha were so friendly and helpful. The pool was great for cooling off, and the terrace with hammocks was super chill. The house is a manageable size, with three rooms downstairs sharing two bathrooms, which worked perfectly fine. The kitchen is nice and big, and it’s only a five-minute walk to the center and beach.

Martin and his wife made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. We expected just a room and use of the kitchen, but they prepared breakfast for us and had really good coffee available anytime. Boox Casa is beautifully and lovingly furnished, and the rooms on both the ground and first floors are charming and well looked after. There’s a lovely rooftop terrace with hammocks, plus a huge, clean pool in the garden. Thanks so much, I wholeheartedly recommend Boox Casa.

The mosquitoes can be a lot in such a humid place, so be prepared. Aside from that, we had a wonderful stay in Holbox and I highly recommend this pleasant casa. Martin and Martina are charming and always happy to help. Our two rooms each had their own bathroom and were really cozy. They also lend out bikes to explore the area, and the terrace is lovely.
