The hosts were A+ for hospitality. The garden’s shared area under the palapa is a lovely place to catch the breeze, get shelter from the weather, spend time with old and new friends, or watch the quiet local life and hummingbirds. It feels more like a hostel than a hotel, but with private, affordable rooms and a cleaner feel. This is my favorite hotel on the island. The price is great value and the central location puts you near the ferries, main square, markets, restaurants, and beach. Rooms are spacious, with A/C, a fan, private bathroom, a really comfortable bed, and an outdoor seating area for each room. A generous breakfast is included. Highly recommend.

I stayed here over the holidays and would definitely return on my next visit to Holbox. The location is great, close to the beach, shopping, and dining. Our room was comfortable and clean, with a charming rustic look. The whole place feels quaint, rustic, and pretty. We arrived in the evening to Christmas lights and decorations in the courtyard and outside. It felt magical and homey, and I could tell the owners take great care and pride in the property. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, as were the staff.

The hosts were super nice and cleaned our rooms daily. Each morning they gave us free coffee and pastries, and their island activity suggestions were spot-on and helped us save a lot of money. The location is ideal, about a five-minute walk from both the ferry pier and the beach.

The location worked really well, between the beach and the ferry. Since the new owners renovated the place, everything worked perfectly. It was spotless, and both the AC and hot water were reliable. The hosts were incredibly welcoming. The old photos don't show what the place is like now.

The shower pressure was the one thing that could have been better. Otherwise, it felt like home: lovely staff and cats, a really good breakfast, and the beach just a five-minute walk away. We had an amazing three days, and renting a bike was an option too.
