It’s in a very safe area, with spacious rooms and a small but good pool. The windows have no view, and it can get noisy at night since it’s close to bars. There’s Netflix on the TV. We didn’t have hot water on the first day. It’s only 5min from the boats and 5min from the beach.

The location worked really well for us, about five minutes on foot from either the ferry or the beach, and the street is fairly peaceful, away from the bars and restaurants. We liked the garden pool and hammocks, free drinking water and coffee, borrowable beach towels, and laundry service. Laura was lovely and helpful, and the partner hotel in Chiquila provides free parking. The shower had good pressure, which isn't always easy to find in Mexico. Our main issue was noise in a street-facing room: loud ATVs and the occasional truck were clearly audible. Hot water also took a long time to come through one night, so we had to let it run for over ten minutes.

A great-value place for a short stay in Holbox. The room was huge, and the bed and bathroom were all very good quality. It would be hard to find a better rate.

We loved the pool, and the raccoons that came by at night were a fun surprise. Renting bikes was easy, too. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and worked hard to keep this little private oasis in Holbox clean and lovely.

We only had one night here, which was a shame because the hotel is lovely. The rooms were spacious and stayed cool, and the small hammocks outside were a nice detail. The breakfast place next door got noisy very early in the morning and disturbed the peace, though that's not the hotel's fault.
