Cecilia and her partner kept the whole place immaculate every morning, and my room was cleaned daily during my three nights there. I wished I could have stayed waaayy longer. The garden and decor are lovely, and the hammock in my room was a bonus. The two white ones outside were gorgeous too. Cecilia is super friendly and helpful, and knows the island well. She shared tips about good restaurants, cheap meals, and getting around. When I arrived, she greeted me with a big hug, like an old friend. I felt very safe coming back late while traveling solo. People say it’s a little far from the center, but it’s only a 2-3 minute bike ride to the main town square and less than a 10 minute walk. The island is small, so I never felt far from anything. The AC worked really well, though the island had a cooler breeze at night and the strong ceiling fan was enough for me. The shower pressure was weak and there was no hot water. It didn’t bother me much, though, because it was so hot outside and cold showers felt better.
