My favorite hostel anywhere 💜 Tribu Hostel in Holbox has such a good mix of welcoming people, a great location, and a fun atmosphere. You feel that laid-back island energy as soon as you arrive. The team is super friendly, and it feels social without getting too wild. It's easy to make friends with travelers from all over. The place is clean, colorful, and tropical, about a two-minute walk from the beach and center. There's something happening most days, like yoga and salsa classes, ice baths, sound healing, and even lessons on making margaritas. At night, there's live music, cocktails, events, and dancing under the stars. When you want some quiet, you can relax in a hammock and enjoy the slower Holbox pace. The common areas are lovely, the beds are comfortable, and the AC works great. The whole place feels lively in a good way, and it's the kind of hostel where strangers become friends. I stayed in a private room because I work online, and the good Wi-Fi makes it a great fit for digital nomads. If you're after a fun, authentic, social stay in Holbox, Tribu is a must. The location is hard to beat, right in the Center and close to the beach, with plenty of good bars and restaurants nearby. There are organised activities every day; we tried the salsa course, and they also offer things like kayaking, cocktail classes, yoga, and parties. The staff were super friendly and the rooms were clean. Breakfast was a nice deal at 150 pesos, with a main dish, coffee, juice, and fruit. Just get there before 9-10 pm, since reception closes after that. Really nice hostel, highly recommend!

The place is beautiful and has great amenities. I really enjoyed the dance class. Flor from Argentina is a dedicated, professional teacher with an impressive amount of patience.

The island-like atmosphere is great, and there are plenty of activities and good parties at night. The rooms are nice, though they don't have curtains.

The staff were cheerful and helpful, so it was easy to feel welcome and meet other travelers. There are lots of activities, and the excursions are reasonably priced. I liked that some nearby restaurants give hostel guests discounts, too. The beach is a 3-minute walk away. From the ferry, it takes about 13 minutes to walk here, or a taxi is around 100 pesos. A relaxed, social place to stay on the island, and I'd recommend it.
