We were given a timeshare week and picked this place because the dates worked. We arrived without knowing what to expect and were blown away: a huge one-bedroom apartment, a plunge pool on the deck, and incredible views. The staff, food, and service were all top-notch, and we loved the quiet setting. La Ropa beach is walkable, though the return is uphill. There’s also a sister resort in Ixtapa where you can spend time. If you want to be downtown Zihua every day, though, this may feel too far away.

We had such a fabulous stay and can’t wait to come back. The rooms are gorgeous, and the staff make you feel like royalty. It’s a long walk to the beach, but a pleasant one. Miguel makes the BEST margaritas!

The rooms are pleasant and the view is nice, but there isn’t much else going for it. Food choices and meal variety are limited, and you feel stuck up there. Taxis to town and back cost a lot.

We were guests of a lovely friend, so I can’t speak to the prices. The Sailfest brunch buffet was excellent, though, with spot-on service and a stunning view. Everything was perfect! 😊

There’s so much food, and plenty of fun, exciting, and relaxing things to do. My 7-year-old wanted to stay! The staff deserve a lot of credit for making the visit so enjoyable. Going back in Dec 2020.
