It was okay.

I was there with a university tour, so I can't say what it costs. The cabins are basic rather than fancy, but had what we needed, and the setting is quiet, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. Service was good, and the staff seemed to do their best for guests. The rapids take almost two hours to paddle, so sunscreen is a must. This trip is a poor fit if you're not into adventure or can't swim. You need to stay alert, since losing focus for a moment can be fatal. It was a lot of fun, and there’s also a pool, so I think it’s worth going.

Mr. Shark was warm and welcoming when we arrived, but the services were a letdown. We'd said we'd be there at 9:00 am, yet the receptionist didn't show up until 9:30 am because she'd gone to breakfast. The bathrooms were dirty, covered in cobwebs, and had no water. The showers were dirty and unlit, with no hot water; cold water only came out in a weak trickle. The pool was revolting just to look at. It's a shame, because the property is large and full of vegetation, but it's badly neglected. Maybe it was lovely once, but it has fallen into disrepair. With service this poor, I can see people stopping their word-of-mouth recommendations.
