The spacious, modernized rooms, lovely garden, and great pool made Hotel Villa Pralaya a very happy stay for me. It's also close to the center, and the staff is friendly. Everyone involved deserves praise for the first-class service. If I come back to the area, I'd definitely stay longer.

We found cockroaches on the beds when we turned them down, so we left immediately, around 11:00 PM. At reception they took a long time to help us again, then said they'd deal with it the next day and that THEY COULDN'T BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR THAT SITUATION. I don't usually leave reviews, but this was too unpleasant. DO NOT BOOK HERE. Earlier, there was nobody at reception when we arrived, and we waited about 20 minutes. The room used a code that didn't work, so we waited another 20 minutes for the cleaning lady to let us in. The bathroom was in terrible shape: the sink wasn't fixed, and shower water wouldn't drain properly, flooding the room. We went to report it, but reception was still unattended. Since we were in a hurry for our event, we left and planned to report it later. That night the air conditioning also didn't work.

The staff were understanding when we chose to leave, and they refunded the unused night. But the stay was a bad experience. From 7:00 am there was no power, which also meant no water or hot water, just when we needed to get ready for an important event. The rooms looked much smaller in person than in the photos, and I felt they were very expensive for what they were. We were told Casa Begonias was 8 minutes away, but the trip took almost 20. It didn't meet our expectations.

The pool was a real letdown. It only has cold water at the ambient temperature, though with a small investment they could keep it heated 24 hours a day. The place itself is very nice and presentable, and everything else was great.

Everything is close by, and the place was clean and pleasant. I really enjoyed my vacation.
