Hotel Hacienda Blue Bay

The staff are excellent, friendly, and helpful, and the place is very clean. I’ve stayed here nine times, including a three-week visit I just got back from, and every stay has been wonderful. The view is beautiful, with amazing sunsets every evening. On my beach walks, I’ve only ever seen cute little crabs. I’m in the USA and can’t wait to return.

The staff were kind and accommodating and tried their best to make the stay good, but the hotel itself was dirty. There were bugs everywhere, and the futon sofa had crust and dirt between the cushions. The shower still had grime from previous guests, and the sheets were dirty and itchy. Hardly any of us slept. Lots of things in the room were old and barely holding together.

There were roaches all over this hotel, including in the sink. When the lights came on, I could see them running everywhere. I had to sleep with toilet paper in my ears to feel safe. The hotel is far from the city and any activities. I came with my family and wouldn’t recommend it. Spend your money somewhere else.

This place is far from everything, and there are cockroaches everywhere. The toilet clogged every single time you flushed, so room service had to come unclog it. If someone else needed the bathroom, you had to wait. The AC worked, which earned the one star. Do yourself a favor, spend a few more bucks to stay in the city center, and read the reviews!
