The lagoon view was beautiful, and we had perfect weather. Renting kayaks was absolutely worth it, and the place felt like a lovely escape if you want some peace and quiet. I stayed for a weekend, though service had a few problems, probably because they were short-staffed. We waited two hours past check-in for our room. They said they'd ask whether we wanted it cleaned, but nobody ever came. I've attached a photo looking over the property toward the lagoon.

We really enjoyed the food and the service was top-notch. The common spaces and dining area are lovely, and the shared restrooms were in excellent shape. There’s also access to the lagoon, a pool kept at ambient temperature, and kayak rentals with life jackets available to borrow. Highly recommend it.

The lagoon and reception were both magnificent, making this a wonderful wedding venue. Even the spacious restrooms have a lovely design. If you’re planning a wedding, this is a magical place to celebrate.

For a quick break from everyday routine, this is my favorite spot in Santa María del Oro. It’s beautiful, and you can relax and get excellent food without having to go elsewhere.
