Hacienda Sepulveda Hotel & SPA

A great spot for a one- or two-night family break. You can borrow bikes by renting them at reception, and the restaurant serves delicious food. We’re definitely coming back.

My son lit up when he saw the horses and goats, and the restaurant’s traditional food was excellent. Room service was quick, and the employees kept going out of their way to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. Hacienda Sepúlveda has antique decorations and such careful attention to detail that staying there feels like stepping into another time. It’s a special hotel, and I can’t wait to return. You should check it out.

I was there for a business trip and couldn’t really unwind because I needed a desk to work at, and my room didn’t have one. I struggled to finish a few tasks, even though the place itself is calm and comfortable. The setting near the outskirts of Lagos de Moreno is quiet, with plenty to do if you’re there to relax: fishing, horseback riding, biking, the spa, or a boat ride on the lake. Peacocks wander around and are friendly. The decor is elegant and old-style. There’s valet parking and Wi-Fi, and the room had lots of amenities. The TV picture was very poor and could be improved. I didn’t try the food, though I was told it was tasty. I saw people enjoying the pool and walking around, and hope to come back with my family to relax and have fun. Bring in mind there may be mosquitoes, since the hotel is by a lake.

We only stayed one night, and it didn’t feel like enough. The spa is beautiful, there’s a lot to do, and the staff gave great service. It was so relaxing, and the food was delicious. I could easily have stayed a week.
