Costa del Sol

This is a lovely waterfront community with snorkeling just offshore, plus easy access to diving and fishing. It sits far enough from downtown that cruise ship traffic doesn't affect it, and there's a very good restaurant, Dona Chelys, within walking distance. Groceries are easy to get to, and security is provided on site.

The house was huge, with a lovely view, and the private beach has scuba pickups from the dock. The entrance is secure, and the staff were genuinely helpful and kind. Such a beautiful place, definitely recommend staying here.

D3 was a comfortable base for diving, with the pier handy for pickup by your dive company and a rinse tank for gear. The property is secure, neatly maintained, and close to some great dive sites. The pool was clean and pleasant, and you can get into the ocean from the pier ladder or a tiny beach. It's a little way out of town, so a rental car might be useful, though taxis are $15 to town and food can be delivered.

We've stayed here lots of times and still love coming back. It never lets us down, we think it's wonderful!
