Holiday Inn Leon by IHG

A nice pool, a great buffet breakfast, and some Mexicano charm. If you're shopping for leather goods in Léon, this hotel is well placed, with some of the best stores within walking distance.

Great spot for shoe and handbag shopping, and it's affordable and lovely. The place is clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The Concierge can get you whatever you need easily. Room service can be a challenge, though they really do try to make it work. I found it helped to read some Spanish so I could meet them halfway. I'd stay here again.

The best part is that my wife is happy not to shower today, lol. We chose this place because we expected good accessibility for people with disabilities, but the two accessible restrooms, as you can see in the pictures, were not suitable for getting my wife a shower. I asked to speak with the manager and showed pictures of a shower chair, hoping they could help. The man I spoke to had no answer beyond saying these were Holiday Inn's standards, and he was rude. I'm really disappointed and won't use these hotels again.

After a red-eye flight, with no car, I arrived early in the morning and had to wait 40 minutes for a supervisor before I could check in. I'd booked four nights, including the night before my flight because I was arriving early, and had called to make sure they wouldn't cancel for a no-show. They said the reservation had been cancelled anyway and denied receiving my message. The worst part was that nobody apologized or seemed to care. Very unprofessional and completely unreliable.
