We ended up leaving for another hotel before checkout because the problems were ruining our vacation in Leon. We’d prepaid, but management told us to leave if we weren’t happy. There was no water all day, with no warning or effort to notify us. We were at the hotel the whole time, and they used the outage as another reason not to clean our room. Housekeeping was missing for several days, and staff lied to my family about it. When we asked for tissues for the days the room wasn’t cleaned, management said we’d have to pay for them. I had to go downstairs myself for towels and bath tissue because the phone never worked, or management had deliberately blocked it. I complained several times and nothing was done. The pool heater was out for several days. There was no sense of hospitality, even though staff walked around in suits calling themselves executive class. We were dealing with one issue after another every day. Management’s response was that we could leave, despite having paid in advance.

The hotel’s location made it easy to get to Pharmacy Guadalajara, OXXO, a car wash, food vendors and restaurants. After being out across Leon all day, I loved the refreshing mojitos, and the kitchen staff were so sweet when we ordered room service. The view from our room over Blvd. Adolfo Lopez Mateos and across Leon was lovely. We were there as a family and had a wonderful stay. Everyone was courteous and friendly from arrival, always greeting us and asking if we needed anything. The Valet team welcomed us and helped with the luggage. Our room was spacious, very clean, and smelled lovely, and the bathroom felt like a mini spa. When we asked for the room to be cleaned, staff did a great job keeping everything in order. The cocktails were a hit, too. I’d happily come back. The hotel offered high-quality service whether you’re with family or traveling alone.
