For the FIG (International Book Fair), Hotel Suites México Plaza Campestre is the best choice. It's right next door, though you need to book a month ahead. The other walk is five kilometers from the entrance of the Parque Metropolitana de León to the event. Alcatraces has space and hot water, and maybe cable TV, but at this price the service and cleanliness leave a lot to be desired. Internet access is advertised, but what you get is another story, it's just a marketing gimmick. The hotel is also right across from the cemetery, which could be a plus if you're into paranormal experiences.
