We came back to Mar Celeste for another two-night stay, and still love the waves and that magical beach. It's a small hotel right on the sand, with friendly service, a pool, and a lovely room with a balcony, pool, jacuzzi and shower. The restaurant is really nice, with the option of having service and the menu on the beach. There's internet too. We'd love to keep coming back in the future. Recommended.

We loved staying here. The rooms were amazing, each with a balcony facing the ocean, and the staff were so friendly. The onsite restaurant was very good, and their coffee was the best. It's a great spot right on the beach, easily one of the best places we've ever stayed by the water. Thank you!

Manzanillo has a lot to improve before its hotels can charge prices like Vallarta's, even though the rooms cost about the same. I know comparing Manzanillo with Puerto Vallarta isn't fair, but I can't accept the mediocrity many Manzanillo hotels offer at those prices. Mar Celeste is tiny, but small doesn't automatically make a place boutique. I've stayed at boutique hotels elsewhere in Mexico that were far superior. The pool feels more like a large jacuzzi, which isn't a compliment, and breakfast offers ONLY 4 plates. To me, this is just a glorified 4 bedroom house.

I attended a wedding on the beach here, and the place seemed to work very well for it. It's a nice-looking small hotel, though the parking seems a bit too limited for events.
