For this price in this area, it's hard to do better. The location puts everything you need within walking distance, though finding the place can be tricky since it's above two commercial storefronts. Inside, the amenities are modern rather than dated: AC, a smart TV, internet, a pillow-top mattress that's neither too firm nor too soft, and a hot shower with great water pressure. The towels are nice, too.

The doors were a hassle, especially for anyone who's not comfortable with technology, and my room's showerhead minerals came loose because they hadn't been secured properly. The place also seems poorly maintained. On top of that, be very clear about your booking: they may make you leave the room without honoring the price you agreed on, regardless of how it affects you. The personal attention was lacking as well. I won't get into all the details. If you're looking for a bad stay, book here.

The staff made me feel at home, and for me this is easily the best hotel in Manzanillo. When I come to vacation, it's my first and only choice. Book well ahead, though. There aren't many rooms, so most are often taken.

The staff were really friendly, and the hotel was clean and comfortable. If you're taking a course at CENAC Manzanillo, transport is very close by. A great hotel.

We have a reservation, but we've been left outside with our tired children and all our luggage for over an hour, waiting for someone at reception to let us in. Nobody seems to care or even be around to tell us when they'll open. Completely unacceptable. From what I've read, this has happened before and is a regular thing.
