Sierra Mar at Tesoro Manzanillo

A quiet all-inclusive place.

Execelente hotel.

We were planning a full week at Barceló Karmina and just two nights at El Tesoro, but those two nights were a total letdown. The valet and check-in staff were fine. After that, the bellhops and reception were unfriendly and rude, and gave us no information. It was basically, here's your wristband, work it out yourself. While waiting for our room, we tried the pool, but people coming from the beach had taken all the loungers. The bar was crowded with just one waiter trying to handle everyone, even though it was the off-season. The room was filthy when we finally got in: hair in the shower, no toilet paper, soap, or shampoo, and a fridge with a half-eaten sandwich. They'd only made the beds, and the towels were damp. The sheets smelled bad, and the AC couldn't cool the room below 28 degrees Celsius. The food was the one small redeeming thing. It was okay and edible, if not very varied, and our waitress was super friendly. Everything else was awful, so we canceled the next night's stay and found somewhere else. We'll never come back.

We visited the spa as outside clients and had a 10 out of 10 experience. Leti and Nereida were meticulous in their care, and the package we bought covered a lot. Everything was spotless, and they were completely professional. WhatsApp is the easiest way to contact them.
