Our two-room suite had a lovely ocean view, and it was clean. The air conditioning worked well, so we were comfortable, and breakfast was delicious, with plenty to eat. My travel partners and I loved Hotel Star. The pool also looks out over the ocean. There was maintenance and painting happening during our stay, but the painters were friendly, as were the front desk, housekeeping, restaurant, and the rest of the staff. Everyone was helpful. Friends recommended it to us, and I'd recommend it to my own friends.

We had a great room, reliable Wi-Fi, and plenty of power points, and the staff were top-notch. The gorgeous pool sits right on the beach, with lots of dining choices within walking distance. We were lucky to find this hotel and would come back.

The rooms are new and clean, though compact, and there's Wi-Fi and an average breakfast included. Staff were friendly. It worked well for a few midweek nights. Unit 106 downstairs is preferable, since there's no elevator. The pool is small.

The room was clean, but small, and the bed was firm. It had been advertised as a bigger room when I booked. Breakfast was okay, and the pool is nice with access to the beach.
