Hotel Residencial Inn Suites

We'd been visiting and chose to spend our last night here because it was supposedly a 5 star hotel. What happened was scary and traumatizing, and I don't feel safe staying there again, especially for what I paid. We were told to come back in an hour or so, and did after dinner. Everything seemed fine when we got to the room until the lights wouldn't come on. I called the front desk, and she explained that an extra key card was needed to turn on the AC and lights. Why wasn't that explained when we booked? We went to bed around 10:30pm. During the night, we heard someone trying to get into our room with a key card. It was denied, thankfully. My boyfriend got up, checked through the hole, and saw nobody, but noticed the inside latch had been pushed back. He asked if I'd done it, and I said no. Someone tried again in the morning (04/17/25). We told the front desk. She said we should have reported it so they could check the cameras. We pointed out that it had just happened that morning, so they should still be able to check, but she didn't look. She only apologized.

Breakfast wasn't included, and it wasn't good enough to be worth paying for. The service was good, though, and I enjoyed my stay. This was only my second time staying at a hotel in Mexico, and I really liked this one. There was security at the parking gate at all times. The room door had a security feature too: if it wasn't shut all the way, a small alarm sounded, and it also went off if someone messed with the handle from outside.

I've been here a few times, and it's always been a pleasant experience. It's a great venue for all kinds of events, with good sound, clean restrooms, and nice coffee. The screen could be better, though. The pixels were noticeable enough that I could barely read some of the small letters. The place is fancy and comfortable, the service was good, and the location works well for me since it's not too far from where I live.

The breakfast was absolutely amazing. The place was very clean and welcoming, and I highly recommend it.
