The best part was the staff. Everyone, from the front desk to the cleaning crew, was warm and welcoming, and I’d stay here again on future visits. It’s right in the heart of Matehuala, with food stands, restaurants, and shops all within walking distance. The buffet was delicious, and the restaurant staff were attentive, though breakfast wasn’t included in the room rate. My room was clean and basic, with no microwave or fridge, and the TV wasn’t working that night.

The pool and grounds are beautiful, and the staff were wonderful and accommodating. The rooms are nice, and the restaurant is really good. Ask for the marmelada de piña! I love this little motel, it feels very "Palm Springs" circa 1960.

The rooms were okay, though nothing special, and the whole hotel felt a bit dark. We were looking forward to staying after hearing good things, but our visit this past October left us unimpressed. There are lots of food options nearby, which is handy, since the hotel restaurant was only serving breakfast. That was a big disappointment. The location is also very busy, and getting into the underground parking from the busy road was extremely tight. There are very few spaces, and I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone driving a truck.

The walls are paper thin, so you hear every neighbor. People make noise at all hours, even the staff, and don’t seem to care that others are sleeping. It was horrible. Maybe okay for one night, but I can’t recommend it.

The park across the street is a lovely place to relax, and there are lots of good stores close by. The hotel has a great rooftop view, spacious clean rooms, and comfortable beds. It’s also a great price. Definitely recommend it if you’re staying in the area!
