Luna Palace Hotel and Suites

The location made it easy to catch a bus, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, and our room looked out over the beach. It was generally clean, the service was decent, and the staff were kind and helpful. But we had no hot showers for all six nights, and the fridge left a huge puddle on the floor every morning. The building also needed better upkeep. On top of that, loud beach music every night from 4 to 10 pm became too much. I appreciate local culture and music, but hours of tubas, trombones, and snare drums blaring through the walls was a lot.

Ricardo made our stay so much better. He was wonderful and kind, and ran fun activities that brought guests together around the pool. We played darts, corn hole, and Loteria, and he took us boogie boarding, kayaking, and beach volleyball. The music he played was great, and he encouraged everyone to join in. I even won a cool cap at one of the activities and wore it proudly every day. We’ll be back soon. Management, please give him some recognition, he really makes this hotel shine. We also really enjoyed our stay at the Luna Palace, especially the great food and daily happy hour at 3PM. Thank you, Ricardo!

We had a really good holiday. The front desk staff were accommodating, even when we asked to move to a higher floor. Carlos, the manager, made us feel welcome every day, and the bartenders and maids gave great service. The rooms were great too.

The location was beautiful, and Harry, the activity coordinator, was a huge help. He was terrific at his job and made all the problems easier to put up with. We had a lot of issues, though, so I definitely wouldn't recommend the all-inclusive option.
