It's a quiet, private hotel without salesmen or traffic outside. If you want somewhere small, quaint, and private, this is for you. Getting into town to shop takes a walk and a water taxi, apart from a few little stores on the island. The coffee is good, but they stop serving it during the last 2-3 hours the restaurant is open. Food gets 3.5 out of 5 stars. If you're after a fast pace, fancy restaurants, and shopping, this isn't the place.

The beach is right next door, and the view is awesome. It's quiet too. I had reserved a double room, but the woman at the desk gave me a room with one bed. I showed her the reservation confirmation saying double, and she acted like I was making it up. She kept saying the hotel was full and only offered a sleeping pad for an extra charge. Later she called to apologize because they realized they'd made a mistake with my reservation. Her attitude had changed, but she still didn't offer a double bed, just the same very thin, uncomfortable pad, free this time.

I started in a standard room and moved to another one with a jacuzzi, but it didn't work. The receptionists weren't very kind, while the bartender was really polite and kind. The hotel has direct beach access, though the restaurant food wasn't that great.

The beach and the view alone would make me come back in a heartbeat. The amenities could be better, and the beds took some getting used to, but the staff were really friendly. It was a great place to get away from everything.

The bed and the view were great. The bathroom looked beautiful, though the shower needs stronger pressure. The pool had no shade, and the water wasn't very clear.
