Mision Mazatlan

I stayed two nights and charged my car here. The hotel’s location is the only really good thing. For the money, I expected a better room. They offer free Wi-Fi, but it was having problems, so I had to use my phone service for work during both days.

We booked three rooms together for a four-day, three-night stay and arrived at 5pm, but none were ready. Check-in took forever, and when rooms finally became available, ours were scattered across the first, second, and sixth floors. The photos on this website are misleading and don’t show what the hotel really looks like. Our room had roaches, a rusty bathtub that meant we had to shower in sandals, and mold on the bathroom ceiling. The Wi-Fi didn’t work properly, either. There were only two pillows per bed, not enough towels, and no toiletries, Kleenex, coffee maker, or iron. The place needs a lot of upkeep. We were completely disappointed, and this was by far my worst hotel experience ever. Look elsewhere.

We checked in to find our room flooded. Management hesitated to move me, but agreed after the maintenance guy recommended changing rooms. The next room smelled of mold, and both rooms were dirty and nasty. The owners should be ashamed to have the place in its current condition. A complete atrocity, stay clear.

The view was awesome, the staff friendly, and the rooms decent. My only issue was the morning visits from the ladies. They knocked and then walked right in. My boyfriend was in his boxers and had heard the knock, but they opened the door before he could grab a towel. It felt rude and invasive. They weren’t even there to clean yet, just checking if we were in the room, which made no sense. If that hadn’t happened, I’d have given them five stars.
