A peaceful place with a pool, hammocks, and plenty of shared spots to relax. The rooms have air conditioning and a ceiling fan, and the beds are big and really comfortable. The owners are amazing. If you're after somewhere that feels tucked away and has a beautiful view, this is it. I can't recommend it enough.

The sunrise view is the best part, and you can enjoy it without having to hike. The pool is refreshing when it's hot and is always well looked after. They also provide drinking water. The beach and town are just five minutes away, with music and lively nightlife. There aren't many rooms, so the common areas are usually empty and available, and the hammocks are great too. Definitely one of the best stays in the Mazunte area.

The view is lovely, and the staff were friendly. Getting here by car is a real challenge, though. It gets very dark, so going out from the cabin at night and making the rough uphill walk back aren't easy.

I booked well ahead for Easter weekend, their busiest time of year, but couldn't reach anyone when I arrived in the evening. Apparently check-in was only from 1 to 4 pm, a window I'd never encountered in years of traveling. No one answered the property's phone, and nobody staying there could help, so I spent the night in a tent elsewhere. It was the only place I could find on such a busy weekend. The next day I hauled all my luggage back up the steep hill and arrived around 1:30, so there'd be no excuse for the place to be unattended. Still no reception, no one picked up, and my calls went unanswered. It was inconsiderate and unprofessional, and really spoiled my time in Mazunte. Don't book here.
