Jan’s restaurant at the top of the stairs was fantastic. The ingredients were fresh, the food delightful and good value, and the service was great. We had some of our best meals in Mexico there, at all times of day. It really deserves its own Google maps location. The hotel itself was great too, with a lovely room, a nice pool and decent value. I just would’ve liked a bar.

We had a lovely meal, though the prices are a bit higher. The menu displayed at the restaurant entrance, at the bottom of the stairs, didn’t match the one we got upstairs. With only a couple of tables occupied, the silence felt overwhelming and a little awkward. Some music might help the atmosphere and encourage people to stay longer. The food itself was lovely.

The ingredients were incredibly fresh and top quality, and the chef really knows their craft. Service was incredibly accommodating too. This was easily the best food we had in Mazunte, well worth every step from the center. We only found the place on our last day. Go there!

The restaurant was the highlight of our time in Mazunte. We weren't guests at the hotel, but Chef Jans and Jasmin gave us a fantastic meal with a lovely view, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable. We had red snapper, shrimp salad, ceviche, and a great white wine. They also took care to explain the ingredients since I have celiac. I wish we'd had time to come back for breakfast. Gracias!
