Luis was especially helpful and gracious, and his knowledge of his city and country helped us make the most of our trip. He speaks fluent English, but encouraged us to use Español and keep learning, which added to the travel experience. The other staff were very good too. We had a fantastic stay while visiting Ciudad Oaxaca and the surrounding areas, and walked all over the city from here. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. When we came back from a side trip, we chose a room with softer beds, and it was nice and quiet.

Oaxaca's culture and people impressed me, and I hope to return soon. When I do, I'll stay at Hotel Del Marquesado again. I'm a truck driver from the USA, and the concierge Luis made this trip feel once in a lifetime. He arranged cab rides, shared historical information, and answered all my questions, going well beyond what I expected. The staff were welcoming from arrival to departure, and the facilities were well maintained. The hotel is also within walking distance of many city attractions and places to eat. It's one of the best hotels I've stayed at in years.

Luis Coronado, the manager, was attentive and helped with all our questions. I was working for a couple of days, and the hotel was quiet, with Centro about a 15-minute walk away. The rooms are basic but functional. It was my first time in Oaxaca, and I couldn't have chosen a better place. If it's available, book it right away.

It was spotless when I first walked in, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. El Centro is about a 15-minute walk away. There's a restaurant on site, more places to eat nearby, and a supermarket just two minutes away on foot. I'd definitely recommend staying here. You'll be very satisfied.
