Hotel Boutique Real San Juan Center

The bed was very comfortable, and it was quiet, clean, and welcoming. Everyone was kind and helpful, and they spoke good English for anyone whose español is rusty. The salon offers lots of services. Breakfast was very good, with fruit, coffee, yogurt, granola, and juice brought to the table. There’s also coffee, a kettle, and tea available in the lobby all day.

We’d stay here again. Our room was clean and had a TV, AC, hot water, and comfortable beds, everything we needed. The towels varied randomly in number and size, but it didn’t bother us. There’s a kitchen for guests to cook in, with everything needed including a fridge, plus free coffee, other supplies, and fruit to share. The hotel is really three separate buildings that aren’t next to each other, so from San Juan you have to walk a block to Hotel Boutique for breakfast or the gym. The gym is just a small room with a few weights and bikes. The pool with the bridge didn’t seem meant for swimming, more for decoration, and it wasn’t very clean. We didn’t see any other pools.

Friendly, clean, safe, and convenient, with modern decor and a good price. The bed was large, too. Parking worked out for me, but the lot is small and so limited that I wouldn’t call it free parking. The AC ran very poorly. It took all night to cool the room, and then it was only mildly too warm. The pool seems mostly for kids or decoration. We were at the Hyatt Regency for a week, just one block away, when we stumbled on this new hotel. Manager Mr. Donny Hernandez showed us around, and everything we saw was beautifully designed and spotless. The AC was silent and excellent, which matters in 33C heat. It was better than what the Hyatt had to offer, so we moved here for the next week. We were very happy with that choice. The restaurant food was superb, with local and international dishes on the menu. The Chicken Alfredo was as good as any 5-star restaurant we’ve tried while traveling around the world. Great location, amenities including hi-speed internet, and service made this a great stay.
