Casa Oneiro Hotel Boutique & Suites

A horrible experience. I repeatedly emailed and called to confirm the airport transportation offered on the hotel website. Ricardo, an employee, told me he would send a shuttle for my family and me, but nobody came. They didn’t reply to my emails or answer my calls afterward. When I arrived, no one apologized or made any effort to welcome me or treat me like a paying customer. I showed the owner screenshots of the emails and my call log, and still got no apology or response. The floors weren’t very clean, and the toilet seat was broken, so I had to squat. Very disappointing.

The key system failed for a day and a half, so each time we needed to get into our room we had to track down a staff member. Sometimes nobody was at reception. The staff were polite, but this was far below what I’d expect from a 4-star hotel. We spent three nights without a proper hot shower. In the replacement room, the water was warm for a couple of minutes and then went cold. We only got that room after staff checked several rooms because the bathroom in our first one smelled unbearably bad. The room also felt unfinished. There was no fridge, just exposed wires, and no kettle or hairdryer. Concrete dust and debris were everywhere. For two people there was only one tiny bottle of shower gel, and the towels left white fluff all over us. A very disappointing stay.

The view was absolutely stunning, and our room was clean and well kept. The staff were friendly and the service was excellent. We had an amazing stay and will definitely return on our next visit. Highly recommended!

I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel is in a quiet residential neighborhood, about a 15-minute walk from the center and attractions, and the area felt safe to walk around even at night. Everything was super clean. The pool was lovely and a good size, and there’s a big smart TV in the room.
