From the street, this little place doesn't look like much, but inside there's a lovely terrace surrounded by trees. The room was spotless, and breakfast was included and really good. They also did our laundry for a very reasonable fee. My woman had a deep tissue massage and said it was the best she'd ever had. Love this place.

This historic house was being remodeled when I visited in June 2017, and it looked like the owner lived at the back while three rooms at the front were rented out. They seemed to be expanding, though at that point it appeared only one room was available. The location is close to downtown Merida, and the service was nice. I had a comfortable bed, ordered breakfast made by the owner, and could use the wifi. Parking was on the same street. They only took cash, no credit cards.

A smaller, nice hotel in a decent, quiet location. The owner was great, the beds were comfy, and breakfast was pretty good. We could hear a little noise from the room next door through the bathroom, but it wasn't a big deal.

They were incredibly helpful with getting around the city and arranging an early morning bus to Cancun. Breakfast was included, and the place has air conditioning and gated parking. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

We were put in a room meant for one person, though I wouldn't have noticed on my own. The host didn't seem bothered and nobody warned us about it. Then they charged extra for breakfast, which hadn't been made very clear from the start.
