Casa Lala

We loved Merida and had a great stay at Casa Del Maya. The casa is beautifully decorated, and everyone made us feel welcome. Aaron, the kitchen ladies, and the owners were all very kind. We were traveling with our nine-month-old daughter when we had a minor car accident. Aaron and the owner helped us contact the person responsible for the damage. It took a while, but they stayed with us and helped sort it out. The pool was refreshing, and we enjoyed having a different breakfast each day. It was handy that we could buy cold beers and other drinks at the B&B. The location was great for getting around on foot.

A small, quiet tropical hideaway from the busy city, but still within walking distance of the center and lots of restaurants. The owners and staff are great, and breakfast is wonderful and healthy. We hope to visit again.

The interior patio and pool are thoughtfully set up and relaxing, and the place itself is cute. It’s in a quiet neighborhood, still close to the tourist areas. Aaron, the manager, was helpful and shared lots of good ideas for places to eat and things to do. We enjoyed breakfast every morning and would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Merida.

This property feels like a little oasis, with a pool and plenty of spots to sit. It’s well cared for and in a good location. Breakfast was tasty, and the staff were super friendly. One surprise: Delta Stays listed parking when we booked, so I assumed there’d be a lot, but parking is only on the street. We’ll come back if we’re in Merida again.
