My room was right at the front, about two car lengths from a busy intersection. The night turned out to be quieter than I expected...

The staff were kind, friendly, and helpful. They spoke only Spanish, but Google Translate made communication easy. The room was simple but had enough for me, with a comfortable bed, effective AC and ceiling fan, and hot water that took a while but was adequate. Shower pressure was so-so. The area felt safe, with a convenience store a short walk away. Very good value.

Getting around is easy, with lots of bus lines and The Walmart nearby. The hotel is right by Paseo de Montejo, Merida's main boulevard. Good service and room, and the quality for the price is great. Happy to support it.

We stayed for more than two weeks while we were sick. The place was basic but comfortable and good value, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The thing we couldn't stand was the person in the room above ours, nr 6. Every morning there were awful shower noises and sounds of him clearing his throat and nose. He was there the whole time we stayed. I hope he doesn't actually live there, for the sake of future guests.

The location is handy for Walmart and CMA hospital, but the place was smelly and dingy, and the service was poor.
