We paid around $40 per person for the day pass, plus massages, and came away feeling it wasn’t worth it. The grounds are quite small, and the towels weren’t included. Nobody told us, so I had to ask for one after arriving without any. I still don’t see why the pass costs that much for access to a tiny pool. The property is beautiful and the massages were great, but the cenote was dirty, buggy, and seemed to have no water circulation. We’ve visited many cenotes around here, and this one wasn’t good or suitable for swimming. We also learned only after paying $100 USD for lunch for three that some restaurant items were included with our massage packages. The food was good, but that was really upsetting. If you book a massage, ask what restaurant food is included.

We spent one night in a double room. The booking.com photos don’t reflect the hacienda’s current state. The facilities looked run down, especially the poorly maintained pool and cenote. I’ve seen five or six other natural cenotes in Yucatan and Quintana Roo, so please don’t pass this off as just how a natural cenote looks. The pool loungers were neglected too. In the bathroom, the tissue holder was broken and there was only one ply of tissue left. Shouldn’t housekeeping keep an eye on that? And requiring guests to tip is ridiculous. Not worth the stay, with much better accommodation available in Merida.

I had an accident with my rental car and hurt my nose, but they didn’t have a first aid kit or even a single bandage. There wasn’t even a pair of scissors to cut tape so I could cover the bleeding on top of my nose.

We had our wedding here last weekend and had a fantastic time. The grounds looked great for the event, and the setting, restaurant, staff, rooms, and spa all met our expectations in almost every way. Guillermo was especially present and easy to reach while we were there. I found the staff very trustworthy, and all our guests who stayed here were thrilled. I just wish we’d had more time.

I spent the day at a yoga retreat here, using one of the casitas and a large covered veranda. The food was excellent, and there are two pools, spacious grounds, and bikes to ride around on. It’s a former hacienda turned boutique hotel and event space, and the whole property was lovely and well maintained. It’s about 20-25 minutes from Centro Merida and easy to reach by car, taxi, or Uber. I was told they often host concerts.
