It worked for us, but keep your expectations low. The location is good, the price is what you'd expect, and there's 24-hour access. The Wi-Fi was good, and the manager was extremely helpful, even offering fresh sheets during our stay. We had mosquitoes in the bedroom, a family of cats in the kitchen, intermittent water, flooding when it rained, and a toilet that wouldn't flush.

The person in charge confirmed my reservation after I contacted the house. When the day came, I checked that everything was set for check-in, and they simply told me it was full and they couldn't accommodate me. What kind of business is that? 😃🤙🏼

It's cheap and in a good location, but very, very small. The shower in room 5 barely worked because the water didn't come out of the nozzle properly. The owner charges more to extend your stay than the Hostelworld price. He also doesn't give receipts or keep a written record for cash payments. I ended up paying for my extension twice because he couldn't remember I'd already paid. I'd recommend keeping a record and issuing receipts for cash.

The place has a worn, antique feel, with peeling paint, so it won't suit everyone. For a couple on a budget, though, it was perfect. The kitchen had everything needed to cook, but it smelled and felt a bit unsanitary. There were three very friendly dogs, which we didn't mind, though some people might.
