We ended up staying an extra night because we loved the place so much. That meant switching rooms, but the second one was just as great as the first, and we slept really comfortably throughout. The staff were wonderful, and breakfast made mornings easy. We booked a rate that included it, which I'd recommend, though it sounded worth paying for even if it isn't part of your rate. The design is what first caught us. The colors, architecture, and interior details all feel amazing from the moment you walk in. If you're planning a stay in Mérida, Kuka y Letras is worth checking out.

The staff were lovely, and the rooms are spacious. It's a boutique hotel in Merida with tasteful design and decoration. I'd stay here again if I returned to Merida.

We stayed in the green La Poema room, which opened onto a big terrace. It was lovely and had air conditioning, though sound carried through the room, as it does in many places around Yucatan and Quintana Roo. The hotel is nicely decorated and close to the city center, about a 15-minute walk. There are two little pools for cooling off and a pair of drinking water dispensers. The staff were lovely too. Breakfast was good, apart from the fruit, which we thought was pretty bland. Thanks for having us, and all the best! ☀️

The staff were efficient, and the hotel was spotless with really lovely decor. Our room was small, though. The pool mentioned in the description was only 4.5 m², and the hotel is 1.2 km from the main square. We were glad Uber was available in the evenings.
