The room itself was clean and practical, with two comfortable twin beds and a tidy shower and toilet. Breakfast was decent, with fruit and yoghurt, a few egg options, chilaquiles, and basic filter coffee. There wasn't any milk or creamer, though. We ended up here for one night after the road toward Atlacomulco was closed for hours and left us stuck in Toluca. The hotel is handy to a main road, but traffic noise carried through the night. I can normally sleep through a lot, but woke several times. It's an okay place if you're stranded in Toluca, though I wouldn't choose it for a vacation.

The road outside is extremely busy and loud, and the building next door is a brothel where people partied and made noise all night. I didn't sleep during any of my four nights. That's a shame, because the rooms, service, and breakfast were excellent, and the staff were great. Thanks for everything.

The bed was sleepable, though nothing special, and the free breakfast was okay but pretty limited. WiFi didn't work, and there was no business center. We also had to haul our luggage from the basement parking up to the second floor ourselves, since there was no concierge service. I was surprised to see a separate entrance with garages and stairs leading to rooms above. I had searched for a pet-friendly place, but this hotel isn't pet friendly. We found somewhere for Emma to stay, though that was hard since she's getting older. Booking and Hotels both listed an elevator, but there isn't one. Some staff did make an effort, so I'll leave it at a 3. Nothing spectacular.
