We paid $470 for a room with a matrimonial bed for two people in Sept 2017. It's a budget hotel, but they put money into what matters: a good mattress and quality sheets. The room and hotel were clean, and the adjoining restaurant is good. Shampoo and bottled water aren't free, but you can buy both.

The beds are pretty comfortable, and the restaurant serves good food. It's an inexpensive place near Metepec, handy for spending the night before heading to the "nevado de Toluca" volcano in the morning.
