We got a room with two beds, and one of them was really stiff. There was dirt by the entrance, too. Noise was the bigger problem: groups of people and kids were laughing, yelling, running around, and screaming until midnight, with no control over it.

The train nearby is a real downside. It lays on its horn for as long as 10 minutes at a time, just one street away. Even so, I'd stay here again when passing through. It's handy for crossing the border, with an ATM, Soriana, and good food close by. The room was comfortable, the shower hot, and the AC very cold. Breakfast was delicious, and the coffee was hot.

I keep coming back whenever I'm in Mexicali. It's good value, clean, and the staff are friendly. The AC works and the shower gets hot, plus there's a good restaurant on site and plenty of parking. Restaurants and supermarkets are within walking distance. Weekends can be noisy sometimes.

I was there on a Tuesday in June 2025. It was quiet until the trains started up early, around 4:30 to 6:30 in the morning, give or take 30 minutes. Most rooms face west, so they get hot, but the AC cooled mine down really well. There were no outlets near the bed. The room was clean, the price was low, especially on booking dot com, and the border was close. I didn't eat there, though street tacos were around the corner. I'd stay again if I only needed a place to sleep.
