Hotel Lucerna had a relaxing, upscale feel, and I'd happily stay again. My room was comfortable, clean, and well kept, with modern amenities. The restaurant on site was a highlight, with excellent food and service. The location also made nearby attractions and places to eat easy to reach. Staff were welcoming and attentive as soon as I arrived. I'd recommend Hotel Lucerna to anyone visiting the area.

The hotel felt like a nice little oasis in the middle of a busy city. My room and the hotel were clean, and the staff were superb. They were accommodating, answered questions, and did what they could to make the stay enjoyable.

We got stuck in Mexicali for New Years, and the hotel was very good. The complex is spread out, so expect a bit of walking. Staff were helpful and accommodating, escorting us to our room, the restaurant, and the bar. Even after dark, the parking attendant walked us back to our room. The bed and pillows were comfortable. We had to stop at reception to ask for towels, though, so check that your room has them. Otherwise, I would've rated it a 5. We'd stay again.

After a long flight, my wife and I were exhausted and looking for a room close to 1am. We just showed up, and one was available. It was clean and cozy, and we got some solid, deep sleep. Lucerna gave us better quality and customer service than the brand hotels. I'll be back.

This used to be one of the city's best hotels, but now it seems like some basic things are being neglected. My room was dirty from the start, with dust behind the bed and in the bathroom. I hope they take care of it, because those conditions don't feel good.
