We spent quiet afternoons on the rooftop, often with the place to ourselves. I didn't swim, though the pool felt comfortably warm. Getting in and out was easy thanks to the speedy elevators and the very friendly doormen and staff. Our suite, or maybe apartment, was spotless and incredibly spacious, with lots of bedroom storage, a roomy bathroom counter, and a comfortable living room. The location is hard to beat. Breakfast was a small offering, but with so many great restaurants in the neighborhood, we didn't need much more. I was sorry to leave and will absolutely book here again on our next visit to Mexico City.

The breakfast included with my rate on the terrace wasn't really worth mentioning. Some mornings there wasn't enough for everyone, basically just yogurt and a cookie, and on other days there weren't enough coffee cups. Even so, I'd give Casa Cleo a top rating and would definitely come back. My room was lovely, with a kitchen, a little living room, and a fridge that let me buy food at the local markets and eat breakfast in my room. It was noisy from construction next door starting at 7 am, though the hotel itself is quiet, on a beautiful street in Condessa. The iron gate entrance and an actual person providing 24-hour security were reassuring in busy Mexico City. Diego and Daniel at the front desk went out of their way to help with everything and always did it with a smile. Renata had also answered my questions six months before I arrived. I love the people who work at Casa Cleo. They make the place.

We had a great stay and would recommend this place. Everything inside the apartment was very clean, and the location was excellent. There’s a balcony, a record player and speaker, smart TVs in both the living room and bedroom, plus an ironing board and iron. The kitchen was fully equipped, and they left complimentary tea, coffee, and water. Housekeeping came every day. The rooms are huge and feel more like a high-end apartment than a hotel, with quality finishes throughout. The marble bathroom is also very spacious, with a bathtub and separate shower, and they provide lotion, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, and a good hairdryer. Free laundry facilities and laundry pods were available in the building, and groceries or food orders could be sent right to the room. There’s also a front desk and security around the clock. There was a noticeable sewage smell in the hallways and elevators, though it didn't get into the apartment itself. On our last day, we'd asked for a taxi at 5:45 a.m., but it was booked for 4:45 a.m. by mistake, so we were woken up an hour early. Annoying, but the staff were otherwise very friendly and helpful.

Diego gave us a great dinner recommendation, and the whole staff were friendly and professional. They put everything in order each day, which we appreciated. The room was quiet and peaceful with its window onto an interior courtyard. Some rooms are set up this way, so they can be a bit dim in the daytime, but that didn't bother us. Our suite made the long weekend in Mexico City especially comfortable. We wanted room to relax during our four-night stay, and the extra space was well worth it. The modern, new decor nods to Condesa's colonial architecture, and we loved the huge bathroom and mini kitchen for leftovers. I used the free weights in the gym and enjoyed the big bathtub. The website photos were very accurate as of Jan 2026. The couch is longer in person, though it's not a proper fold-out sofa bed if that's what you're after. Breakfast on the lovely terrace is just a few light bites, which was fine with so many food and coffee options a short walk away. It felt like we had the space and practical amenities of an Airbnb, the room quality of a four-star hotel, and the warm welcome of a bed and breakfast. We'd happily return to Casa Cleo.

There were pastries, coffee, juice, and puddings on the rooftop each morning, a lovely little extra. The service was kind and attentive, and it was nice to have a doorman to greet on the way out and back with Buenos Dias y Buenos Tardes. Xoma is in a perfect central spot among the beautiful tree-lined streets of Roma Norte. Great restaurants, coffee shops, stores, and bars are all an easy walk away, including the wine bars Si Mon and Artnoc. The building and rooms are well cared for, and it really feels like coming home to your own apartment. I'd certainly stay at Xoma again!
