We specifically wanted a hotel with a nice pool and hot tub, so we called three days before arriving. The front desk said both were open and even told us the water temperatures. Once we got there, they said the pool had closed that day for maintenance and wouldn't reopen for at least a week. Someone working on the pool told me it had actually been shut since the beginning of the week. I'm not happy they misled us.

After an 11-hour flight from the UK, I was exhausted when a flight change brought me in at 2:30 am. The owners were incredibly helpful and arranged for me to get into my room then, instead of waiting until 3 pm. They seem like kind, helpful people, and I'd definitely recommend staying here. The hotel is gorgeous, too, with a very modern bathroom.

I couldn't believe how good the breakfast was at Alia Inn Boutique. I had Chilaquiles, bacon, eggs, and a green juice with Nopales, Pineapple, Orange, and other fruit. When they told me the price, I thought there'd been a mistake because it was such a deal. The restaurant food was delicious, the staff were wonderful, and the place was super clean. It's within walking distance of the world trade center and lots of good spots, with a short Uber ride to Coyoacan, Chapultepec, and some great museums. The price was awesome, and I'm planning to go back ASAP and stay there again.
