There are plenty of places to eat within walking distance, and it’s a peaceful spot that works well for a couple’s mini vacation. The hotel was nice, and the woman who helped us was lovely and gave excellent service. My room, ph2 room 3, had a door that made a lot of noise, so everyone could hear whenever I opened or shut it. The room also had no trash can or mirror, and there was no hot water.

I used to love La Joya and have stayed here before, but I don’t want to return after this last visit. The women repeatedly wouldn’t clean my room, and whenever I asked, they said they had to get permission from the administration first. The breakfast was poor, and the girls had a horrible attitude. I can’t recommend staying here anymore.

The rooms are small but very clean, and there’s always a security guard at the entrance. I liked staying here and had most of what I needed. Just be aware that only two people are allowed per room, and the walls are thin, so don’t plan anything too wild 😜!

The penthouse terrace was amazing, with an unbelievable sunset view and open plains overhead. The rooms were comfortable, and the location was convenient.
