We booked a double queen room through Expedia, but when we arrived, the receptionist, Manuel, did not tell us it was unavailable. Instead, he put us in a single room with a double bed and did not offer a refund for the price difference or another option. We went back to reception to confirm that the room was different from our reservation. Manuel said it was an Expedia issue and there was nothing he could do. It was already 11:40 pm, and he offered no solution. When we tried to cancel through Expedia, the platform called him, but he hung up because he does not speak English and did not understand. Expedia eventually helped me submit a refund request. The next day, the hotel still had not replied because Manuel said he had not checked his inbox. Pros: Good location. Acceptable cleanliness, and the room was clean. Cons: Poor reception service, with no solutions or sense of responsibility. The single or standard room is very small. The bathroom is tiny, the shower is uncomfortable, and there is too much air freshener. The hotel needs maintenance. There are no staff at reception who can help in English. Conclusion: If you book through a platform, call ahead to confirm that what you paid for is available. In my experience, reception has a lot of room to improve its service and problem-solving.

For the price and quality, this is a very decent choice! The room is a good size, clean, and pleasantly designed. It was quiet at night. The area is nice and close to a park. The downside was seeing some insects in the room, though that's probably typical of the country's climate.

There was hair left around the bathroom, as if it hadn't been cleaned, and they don't provide enough toilet paper. I wouldn't recommend it.

A terrible experience. We had to find somewhere else to stay. We were traveling with an eight-year-old girl, and when we arrived, the facilities and entrance were at a different location. A couple came in to book a room by the hour, like at a motel. We left, but they still charged the full amount to our credit card.
